Our Story

Every story begins with a vision. Ours began in the heart of Egypt.
Where timeless heritage meets the promise of new beginnings, one man’s ambition gave rise to Pyramisa Hotels. Built on warmth, generosity, and a deep understanding of what makes a stay memorable, it became the foundation for a legacy of genuine hospitality and a strong sense of place.
That legacy passed to his two sons, who carried it forward with their own passion, experience, and determination. Under their leadership, Pyramisa grew into one of Egypt’s established hospitality names, welcoming generations of travellers across some of the country’s most remarkable destinations.
Today, the third generation continues the story with a fresh perspective, honouring what was built before them while reimagining hospitality for a new era. Their answer: two distinctive concepts, shaped around the needs, expectations, and lifestyles of modern travellers.
The first is V Hotels & Resorts, a contemporary expression of refined Egyptian hospitality. Rooted in the group’s heritage yet distinctly modern in character, V brings together sophisticated design, elevated experiences, and a fresh take on luxury.

Ahmed El-Sharif
With a lifelong passion for Egyptian culture and genuine hospitality, Ahmed founded V Hotels in 1991 with a singular dream: to create a place where every guest feels deeply welcomed. His vision and values remain the soul of every property we build.
Chief Executive Officer
Karim El-Sharif
Taking the helm in 2005, Karim transformed a beloved single property into a nationally recognized hospitality brand. His operational excellence, global perspective, and respect for legacy have driven V Hotels to its current prominence.
Managing Director, Brand & Experience
Nour El-Sharif
Educated in hospitality design and management globally, Nour leads the evolution of the V Hotels brand into the modern luxury era. She is the architect of the group’s acclaimed guest experience strategy and its contemporary design language.
