We recently stayed at this resort in Sharm El Sheikh, and while there were some positives, there were also several disappointing aspects that future guests should be aware of.
The biggest positive was the staff. Most of the hotel team were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely tried their best to make our stay enjoyable. A special mention goes to the cleaner in the 300 block, who was exceptional. He always made sure our room was spotless, checked whether we needed anything, and consistently went above and beyond. He is a real credit to the hotel.
Unfortunately, the resort itself is in need of maintenance. The rooms are dated, and the bathrooms in particular were disappointing. There was visible mould, signs of poor upkeep, and they generally didn't feel as clean as you would expect from a resort of this standard.
The food was by far the biggest disappointment. It was repetitive, lacked flavour, and, most importantly, both my wife and I became ill for two days after eating at the resort. Because of this, we ended up leaving the hotel on several occasions to eat elsewhere. That completely defeats the purpose of paying extra for an all-inclusive holiday and was a huge let-down.
Another issue was the market next to the hotel. When my wife visited on her own, she was quoted significantly higher prices than when I later bought exactly the same items. The difference was around 400 Egyptian pounds. My wife also understood enough of the local language to hear one of the sellers say, "She's alone, let's charge extra." We reported this to reception, but they only issued a warning, which didn't feel like an adequate response. Guests, particularly women shopping alone, should be cautious.
Communication with some staff could also be difficult due to language barriers, making it harder to resolve problems when they arose.
Overall, the resort is visually beautiful and perfect if your priority is taking Instagram-worthy photos. However, if you're booking because of the all-inclusive experience, I can't recommend it. The hardworking staff, especially the housekeeping team, deserve recognition, but the poor food, lack of maintenance, and overall value for money mean we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

An Unforgettable 50th Birthday Celebration at V Hotel Sharm El Sheikh
Our family and friends recently travelled from the UK and Nigeria to celebrate a very special 50th birthday at V Hotel Sharm El Sheikh, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views of the Red Sea, spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Every day felt like a true escape.
What made our stay truly exceptional, however, was the people.
A very special thank you to Mr. Zein, who was simply outstanding. His professionalism, attention to detail, calm approach, and genuine desire to make our celebration perfect were evident from start to finish. He was always available, nothing was ever too much trouble, and he made us feel as though we were the most important guests in the hotel. His level of customer service is truly world-class.
Our Golden Sands 50th Birthday Dinner was absolutely magical. The venue was beautifully prepared, the food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and every detail was handled with care. From the elegant dinner setting to the incredible entertainment, including the traditional belly dancer and Egyptian performances, everything came together perfectly to create an unforgettable evening. Our guests are still talking about it.
We would also like to thank every member of staff who played a part in making our celebration so special. The reception team, housekeeping, concierge, restaurant and bar staff, chefs, entertainment team, guest relations, security, and everyone working behind the scenes were consistently warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Every interaction was accompanied by a smile, and nothing was ever too much to ask.

Beautiful resort on Shark's Bay, now called V HOTEL... Personally, I liked it better the way it was before, but now it's been renovated in a modern, gray barracks style. It's a lot of fun, the food is good, the beach is huge, the swimming is endless, one of the most beautiful beaches in Sharm el-Sheikh...

The hotel is lovely and has great facilities. Very clean and peaceful, the food is also tasty. The staff is engaging and helpful. Momo is very friendly.
Few suggestions:
-The hall flooring is really slippery and a health hazard.
-please consider adding refreshing drinks that are not fizzy, such as ice tea

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was great and made it easy to get around and see nearby places.
The animation team was one of the best parts. They were friendly and always organizing fun activities during the day and evening, which made the stay more enjoyable.
The food was also good, with enough variety and everything tasted fresh. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, and the staff were kind and helpful.
Overall, I had a good experience and would stay here again.

This hotel does not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel at all and was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in recent times.
The rooms are outdated and do not reflect the image of a luxury hotel. While the lobby appears to have been renovated, this does not match the condition of the rooms. It is unacceptable that a hotel claiming to be a 5-star property and stating it opened in 2024 already has showers with visible mold. Windows to the balcony did not close fully.
Cleanliness in public areas was also lacking. In the lobby, I noticed visible dirt such as footprints on cushions and food residues on chairs, which should not happen in a hotel of this category.
The buffet was another major disappointment. The food quality was poor, and after eating there, I became ill (food poisoning) and was bedridden for two days. Initially, it was even suggested that my illness was not caused by the hotel food, which I found very frustrating, as I had not eaten or drunk anything outside the hotel during my stay.
I also find it difficult to understand the many positive comments about the food. Perhaps expectations differ..
As a solo female traveler, I unfortunately experienced inappropriate comments, pushy behavior and flirting from a few staff members. This is highly unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe during my stay.
On a positive note, I would like to highlight the housekeeping staff in section 0200, who were very friendly, professional, and did an excellent job. The reception staff during the day were also polite.
Additionally, the overall atmosphere was negatively affected by the behavior of many guests - obviously not the hotels fault but. The level of manners and respect was far below what one would expect in a 5 star resort. Many guests showed a clear lack of basic courtesy and etiquette.
Overall, I am very disappointed with my stay and would not return.

I was very happy with this hotel.
Food was just like any all inclusive resort but there was so much variety always italian, local , russian and even asian food. Special deserts and such. I was even more happy with how the hotel was decorated for valentines day it was such a magical atmosphere and so beautiful.
The service was good , everyone working was always helpful and nice. Even the lifeguard helped me find my lost earring )))
Especially I want to thank the beauty salon staff which i visited many times and did a lot of services for a good price and friendly atmosphere. Also the hamam was good.
The only minus for this hotel is that there isn’t a good beach to swim in the sea , but I spent most of my time by the pool - its so fun and everyday I went to water aerobics, dances and zumba by the pool! ))) overall me and my partner were happy with our stay at this hotel👏🙏🏻 THANKS TO EVERYONE WORKING

A truly 5 star experience at The V Hotel.
Our stay at The V Hotel was nothing short of amazing, from the moment we checked in we felt welcomed by the friendly staff. A special shout out to Fayrouz the manager, Zayn in the restaurant and Malek in the spa.
The amenities were first class, the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet offered a huge variety of delicious options. Only thing missing was the hot and spicy sauce varieties 😀
I can't fault this place and will definitely be back, highly recommend for anyone visiting.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The renovated rooms were modern and comfortable, and the food was consistently tasty with a great selection. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well kept, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The animation team was wonderful, and we would especially like to mention the animator Ipoo, whose energy and friendliness made our vacation unforgettable. Definitely a place we would return to!
